Doctors Analyzing MRI

Whole Body MR Program

Early Diagnosis Saves Lives!

This approach tries to detect tumors in a number of organs throughout the body, including the brain and neck, before they grow and spread. People with a high risk of cancer can benefit from whole-body MRI in addition to routine check-ups.

What are the benefits of having a check-up with 8 & Safe?

  • The check-up results are analyzed face to face with great attention and diligence.

  • Laboratories are awarded with ISO 15189 certification.

  • If needed, a translator can be supplied for international patients.

  • Exams, blood tests, and EKGs are all performed in specifically dedicated check-up facilities.

  • The results of the examination and the doctor's report are digitally recorded.

  • During the procedure, patients are accompanied by a check-up official.

  • Private VIP lounges are available within the hospital's check-in area.

Program Details

  • Whole Body MRI is a supplementary advanced check-up model for those who undergo frequent check-ups due to a risk of cancer or a concern about cancer.

  • In a single session, the entire body, including the brain and neck, is imaged.

  • It can be used as a check-up device. Although MRI has traditionally been used to scan only suspected abnormalities, it can now scan the entire body in a single session.

  • This imaging modality scans the body at 5-mm intervals and then uses an automatic software program to combine the digital data into a single image. The images are captured in about 45 minutes.

  • The goal of a whole-body MRI is to gather data before signs and symptoms appear and the tumor spreads. This test is also a possibility for persons who have a tumor in their family.

Which Organs Are Scanned With Whole Body MRI?

  • Whole Body MRI scans start in brain. Next, the neck, lungs and chest wall are imaged.

  • The procedure continues with the evaluation of liver, pancreas, kidney, adrenal gland and other intra-abdominal organs as well as urinary bladder.

  • Prostate and testicles are scanned in men, while uterus and ovaries are imaged in women. Moreover, bones and muscles (excluding arms) above knee level are assessed in the same session.

  • It needs to be combined with other conventional screening tests in order not to miss signs of an early-stage disease, when lung, breast, prostate and gastrointestinal tumors are screened.
